eLearning Development

There’s no doubt instructor-led training is a fan favorite among employees. Rightfully so, it has the highest engagement and with the right speaker it can be fun, interactive and hands on. Online learning dosen’t have to be stale and boring. My goal is to replicate the classroom experience as much as possible online with real-life scenarios, “war” stories, video, animation, stunning visuals and applicable content that they can directly relate to and see in their day-to-day operations as employees within your organization.

List of Learning Assets

Here you’ll find a list of environmental, health and safety related compliance learning assets I’ve created over the past 10+ years.

Managing Client Accounts

This scenario-based microlearning, focuses on real-world client management in construction. Learners make decisions that impact scope, communication, and project risk. The experience highlights structured change management, practical application, and performance-based outcomes, creating engaging, industry-relevant learning solutions.

This is a quick sample micro-learning on midstream operations, from production to market covering the seperation, treatment, processing, storing, transport and distribution of crude oil natural gas, NGLs and processed water. Create in Articulate Storyline.

How Centrifugal Pumps Work

This is a sample online training course using a blended learning approach of traditional on-screen text and voiceover, animation, 2D models, 3D interactive models, video and more. It is a perfect example of how each of these learning methods can be used together to form a seamless interactive learning experience that your employees will enjoy.

Introduction to Turbines

It is a perfect example of how each of these learning methods can be used together to form a seamless interactive learning experience that your employees will enjoy.

Example Comic-Style Course

This is a sample micro-learning of a comic book–inspired OSHA inspection experience. Instead of slides and bullet points, learners follow a facility manager and federal inspector through “Inspection Day,” reinforcing real-world safety best practices through story and visual design.

Intro to Artificial Lift Types

This is a sample eLearning course using a blended learning approach of traditional on-screen text and voiceover, animation, 2D models, video and more. It is a perfect example of how each of these learning methods can be used together to form a seamless interactive learning experience that your employees will enjoy.

Example Micro-Course

This is a sample micro micro course used to teach a process or a quick “how-to” complete an action. We used “How to make make a cup of coffee using a french press” as an example. There is a job aid that users can download once they finish. This is a perfect example of how a quick micro-training can be much more effictive than an email or a simple acknowledgement for change management.

Emergency Eyewash Station

The client gave us their SOP and style guide and said come up with the training on using our emergency eyewash stations and showers less than 15 minutes. It was a short 30 minute meeting. Here’s what we came up with and it was a hit.

ADDIE Methodology

Step up to the decks—every great DJ knows the crowd doesn’t move by accident. Spin each record to unlock the method behind the mix and see how ADDIE turns noise into a perfectly crafted experience. Created in Articulate Storyline in combination with Javascript.

Hazardous Waste Shipping

This is a sample lesson from a DOT Hazardous Materials Ground Transportation online training course. This course was developed to meet all regulatory training requirements and saved the organziation more than 500 hours of employee training annually compared to offsite training.

eLearning Showcase

This is a PDF sample of various eLearnings I have created over the years. Includes the title and content, client, developer tools used, and other learning attributes for each.

Leadership Skills for Supervisors

This module was developed using Storyline 360. It was one module, part of a 12 part series for Leadership Skills for Supervisors competency framework. Each module was approximately 30 minutes in length and included voiceover, custom graphics, video, learning games and animation. This is just a sample of the content.

Construction Safety

This construction safety awareness course was developed using Rise 360. A rapid development eLearning cloud platform. This micro course is part of a new hire orientation curriculum for all employees and contractors working at a construction site.

eLearning Template Example

Having an eLearning design template that is in-line with your corporate style guide can streamline eLearning development and standardize the look and feel of your portfolio.

Change Management Models

This change management course was developed using Rise 360, a rapid development eLearning cloud-based platform. This course was part of the people leader curriculum and developed to help supervisors understand what change management is and why a model can streamline success.

eLearning Storyboard Example

Think of your eLearning storyboard as the blueprint for the new house you’re building - except a storyboard doesn't just describe how to build the house, but outlines the materials (design elements) you’ll use to build it from start to finish.
